Macro Recording Labels
When recording longer macros that use multiple apps, commands, and screen position-based clicks, it would be great to have a way to label the steps to help keep track of what step an action is for. This would allow longer macros to be updated efficiently and help figure out where the action is within the macro recording. This feature would be similar to keyboard maestro where you can name the action in the recording.
Feedback window lag
Feels super laggy I'm not sure why my pc is pretty good though and typing a bug report shouldn't be running in like 2 fps
The ability to scale the speed of a recorded macro
Like allowing us to change the total time to run for the entire sequence to speed up the macro instead of individually having to change the macro wait times per input
Program exclusion
Hey! I realized today that I have some programs that share hotkeys. I know, the easy solution is simply to rebind, but that's not always an option and different programs have different macros etc. My current solution is to close Keyfire when I use these programs and then run it again after, but it gets tedious after a bit. Would it be possible to add a program exclusion so that whenever that program runs, the Keyfire shortcuts are disabled until the program is no longer running? It seems like a fairly easy thing to do (spoken from someone that rarely codes anything ;) ) Thanks! BR Anton
Settings panel remodel and restructure
Current settings panel and accordion style layout is limited in controlling all settings and toggles clearly, full settings separate window design to be implemented with much simpler layout and visual clarity
Edit expansion field - Full screen
The ability to make the ‘Edit expansion’ field full screen, or ability to drag the side bar border to expand. When formula/field window opens, allow users to drag window to move

Settings control for Windows, such as volume, brightness, etc. with showing the OSD (on screen display) of the setting change e.g volume bar, brightness bar.
Clipboard pinned items between main UI and popup to be separate
Main clipboard UI long term pinned items can be stored here, shorter term pinned items for the popup UI. Pinned vs Starred/Favourite?
Clipboard pinned items to be sortable, drag and drop to arrange in users order
Request from beta user to organise clipboard pinned items, to allow specific order
Keyboard UI customisation for specific keyboard types
ISO enter key, change of key locations, split backspace etc.
Per-key icon overlay on assigned keys
Small icon displayed on assigned keys (key letter repositioned to top-left corner). Built-in SVG library (~50-80 icons covering CAD commands, productivity, arrows) from permissive-licence sets (Lucide, Heroicons, Phosphor). Icon ID stored per assignment. Right-click key, set icon, searchable picker. Purely cosmetic. Validate need from Alpha feedback before building.
AHK importer, parse existing .ahk files to Trigr assignments
Parse existing .ahk script files and convert their hotkey + hotstring definitions into native Trigr assignments. Complex blocks become AHK Script Runner actions. Lets AHK users bring their entire setup across in one pass.
Macro recorder, capture keystrokes in target app and convert to macro sequence
Press Record, switch to target app, perform actions, press Stop. Trigr captures the keystrokes and converts them into Macro Sequence steps that can be played back via any hotkey. Must NOT capture keystrokes while Trigr itself has focus.
Read QR codes in clipboard manager, auto-tag URLs as Links
When an image is copied to the clipboard, decode any QR codes in it. If the QR content is a URL, tag the entry as a Link so the user can click straight through to it from the clipboard history. Bonus territory: WiFi QR (connect to network), vCard QR (add contact), plain text QR (store as text). Decoding stays fully local via rqrr crate.
Save Snippet from Highlight, Ctrl+Space on selected text saves as expansion
Highlight text in any app, press a hotkey (currently planned Ctrl+Space, but conflicts with Quick Search), Trigr captures the selection and opens a quick form to save it as a text expansion. Reduces friction of building up a snippet library while working.
Template button overlap on header, window unusable on small resolution
First time user. I’m using this on a 1024×768 square, scaled from 4:3 to 1:1. ( panasonic toughbook). On main screen, clicking the template button, only the lower right area of the template window appears. Handles to expand the main window to the left fail and no handles for the templates window appear, seems it’s static or handleless. So cannot access it. funnily, screenshot util here also doesn’t allow it for different reasons.
